We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and execution of a wide range of tax-related functions. This includes the preparation and review of 1099 and 1041 tax returns, handling high net worth (HNW) tax matters, and dealing with state tax issues. The Tax Manager will also be responsible for the implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure tax compliance. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Oversee and manage the preparation and review of 1099 and 1041 tax returns.Handle high net worth (HNW) tax matters, ensuring all tax obligations are met in a timely manner.Manage state tax issues, including compliance, audits, planning, and research.Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.Conduct complex tax research and prepare tax memorandums dealing with a wide range of corporate and partnership tax issues.Work closely with management to provide innovative tax strategies to minimize tax liability and coordinate audits with various taxation authorities.Review and update the company's tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.

Job Details

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master s degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a tax role, preferably in the finance industry.Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal and state levels.Proven experience with 1099 and 1041 tax returns, HNW tax, and state tax.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
