The Senior Solution Engineer has expertise designing and developing microservices by leveraging domain-driven design architectural principles. You will build event streaming use cases using Java and Kafka. You thrive in environments where you are focused on writing performant code that supports enterprise-grade architecture. • Design, develop, and sustain products with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.

• Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, CI/CD automation, secure development, TDD, static code analysis, peer/code reviews).

• Build testing protocols to optimize performance, which will have direct impact on the user experience of our products.

• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in applications and drive code hygiene and system architecture.

• Increase teams technical ability and drive measurable code quality improvements.

• Improve the accuracy of development schedules and lower delivery risks.

• Mentor Junior Individual Contributors

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certification DevOps Engineer Professional.
• Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) Certification or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and testing enterprise applications.
• 6+ years of hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design and testing
• 6+ years of experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.
• 6+ years of relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modeling concepts
• 5+ years of DevSecOps and CI/CD automation experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube
• Experience in performance tuning and code optimization
• Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices
• Experience modernizing applications to a microservices architecture
• Good understanding of Oracle database concepts
• Knowledge of Angular/React is an added bonus

• Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
