Responsibilities:
- Restraint and handling with low stress techniques for dogs and cats (no exotics).
- Venipuncture/ iv catheter placement skills.
- Knowledge of vaccination protocols and administration.
- Knowledge of common medications and administration.
- Team player/ flexibility with scheduling.
- Effective communicator.
- Triage patients upon entry to ensure timely and appropriate care.
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensuring client satisfaction.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the veterinary or animal care field.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer fluency.
- Professionalism and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
