The Ford Agency is actively seeking an Alumni Engagement Specialist to join the Development Team of an esteemed DC based academic institution. This role is responsible for fostering relationships with alumni, collaborating with colleagues to implement fundraising strategies, managing volunteers, and creating engaging philanthropic events and activities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with alumni
• Create and implement fundraising strategies
• Coordinate events for alumni and annual reunion programs
• Cultivate a network of alumni volunteers
• Identify creative ways to have alumni engage with the school community
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to implement fundraising strategies
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with alumni
• Collaborate with communications team for the alumni fundraising materials

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of experience in alumni relations or program management
• Experience building relationships with donors and managing volunteers
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Social media experience a plus
