Job description

obert Half is currently in search of a diligent and experienced Government Contract Manager. This role involves working predominantly with contracts that draw upon Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the regulations associated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Primarily, these contracts will be linked with the Department of Defense and the US Navy.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the entire lifecycle of government contract management ranging from development and negotiation to execution and closure.
  • Ensure immaculate compliance with COPA/DFAR/FAR and USAID regulations among other government stipulations.
  • Partner with the Director of Contracts to formulate negotiation strategies, scrutinize contract needs and ratify congruence with negotiated agreements.
  • Play an important role in drafting and finalizing contracts while ensuring top-notch compliance and seamless execution.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end contract pricing approach and enforce its consistent application across contracts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively resolving issues and catering to the needs of all stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years experience in Federal Government Contract Management, particularly with USAID contracts, and expertise in contract drafting, pricing, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification is a significant plus.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with DoD and Navy contracts are highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, communication skills, and an analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
