We are seeking a seasoned Lead Salesforce Developer to spearhead our development team in architecting, developing, and enhancing innovative customer service automation solutions built on the Salesforce Einstein Bot technology. The ideal candidate has experience in solution architecture, Machine Learning, natural language processing, technical leadership, and a proven track record in building and deploying multi-channel chatbots for a large user base.

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Salesforce Developer to spearhead our development team in architecting, developing, and enhancing innovative customer service automation solutions built on the Salesforce Einstein Bot technology. The ideal candidate has experience in solution architecture, Machine Learning, natural language processing, technical leadership, and a proven track record in building and deploying multi-channel chatbots for a large user base.
LOCATION :
- 100% remote work option is available, but candidates local to the Washington, DC metro region are strongly encouraged to apply.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Salesforce solutions across various Salesforce Clouds including custom applications, integrations, and advanced chatbot functionalities using Salesforce Einstein.
- Drive the development lifecycle from requirement gathering, planning, and development to deployment and post-launch support.
- Mentor and manage a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Implement best practices in code quality, deployment procedures, and security measures, particularly in the development of conversational AI applications.
- Stay abreast of new Salesforce features and technologies, integrating them into future project plans as appropriate.
- Provide hands-on leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, including those related to AI-driven chat interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure documentation is maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Public Trust security clearance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must have critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills and working within aggressive project schedules.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust security clearance
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development with a strong background in architecting systems for ML and NLP driven enterprise chatbot applications.
- Hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Expertise in Salesforce Cloud platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing multilingual Salesforce Einstein Bots and other chatbot technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing software development teams and complex projects.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Salesforce Developer Certification is highly desired.
