Responsibilities & Desired Skills
- Assist the administration of treatment and rehabilitation programs under the direction and/or supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and/or the Team Physician
- Assist with medical department logistics and planning including organization and setup of match day equipment
- Maintains all injury records, progress reports, insurance information, etc., for player injuries and treatments
- Applies injury prevention equipment and taping as needed
- Coordinates all preventative and rehabilitative treatments under the direction and/or supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and Team Physicians
- Applicant must be able to comply with USL Championship Safe Sport policy and any other applicable minor safety polices provided to applicants by Loudoun United FC
- Able to stand for prolonged periods
- Must be able to work in person at training facility 4 days per week for approximately 5 hours per day
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as necessary
TYPICAL WORKING SCHEDULE:
Successful candidate will be expected to complete, but not limited to the following:
- 4 days per week at Segra Field and Inova Performance Center (Typically Monday to Friday but can vary based on demand)
- 8:00am - 1:00pm (approx. 5 hrs. per day)
- Approx. 20 - 25 hrs per week
- Potential training coverage and treatment of non-traveling players
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Familiarity working with Electronic Medical Records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- BOC certified and VA licensure preferred but not required
