About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager to join our Enterprise Pricing and Product Management team as part of Consumer, Small and Business Banking. As a critical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of core banking modernization at Wells Fargo, as we work to simplify our platforms that support our financial products. In this role, you ll be a leader in contributing to the product vision, delivering our product strategies and initiatives, and maximizing our value and customer impact. You will leverage your solid understanding of the customers and the business problems to be solved or use transferrable strategic, analytic, and research skills to collaborate closely with the product team to define, discover, and deliver product value. In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence the product, initiatives, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the product

  • Lead the development and execution of complex product initiatives which have impact across the consumer enterprise

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise

  • Lead product discovery efforts to understand the problem to solve, and refine the solution with the product teams

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning for the product, including coordinating highly complex activities and providing guidance to others

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Make decisions in strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements

  • Lead product strategies and product teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives, including prioritizing and managing the product backlog for product teams

  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Financial product management knowledge, with direct experience in leading technology products in these domains

  • Experience with human centered design principles

  • Strong risk management leadership skills

  • Strong dependency management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership

  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead

  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader and subject matter expert

  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs

  • Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and collaboration tools, such as Confluence and Jira
