Description:
The Technical Writer is responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation. Creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

Required Skills:
  • This Technical Task Order (TTO) provides, but is not limited to, High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) Integrated Operations Center (HIOC) documentation support, process and system documentation support, configuration management support, process support, and training support, to include HCSO business process training and foreign partner system training courses.
  • Candidate must be a "power user" in the following applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

LCAT Qualifications:
  • Six (6) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four additional years of TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
