As a mental health technician, you will have the opportunity to:

Qualifications:
- Candidates must have 2 years of college education OR a high school diploma with 1 year of experience in the human services field
- Candidates must be First Aid / CPR Certified
- Has Previous experience with treatment of dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200974">dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-menu-id-param="menu_term_289200974" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200974">substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders - strongly preferred
- Has Training in verbal de-escalation and/or dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200948">dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-menu-id-param="menu_term_289200948" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200948">mental health - strongly preferred
- Holds a valid dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200991">dropdown#toggle" data-dropdown-menu-id-param="menu_term_289200991" data-dropdown-placement-param="top" data-term-id="289200991">driver's license with no restrictions - Willing to transport clients in a 15-passenger van.
- Upon hire candidates will need to submit/pass a full background check including a Motor Vehicle Report to qualify for employment
- In accordance with Virginia state regulation all employees are required to complete a Central Registry Check, Fingerprinting, and Sandstone issued TB test prior to their start date.
