About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead the development and administration of a comprehensive human resources management program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all HR activities, including recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, classification, labor relations, and EEO/AA programs. This role involves continuous evaluation and improvement of HR programs in alignment with the company's strategic plan. The Vice President will also be tasked with establishing and implementing personnel policies, maintaining relationships with external HR officials, and representing the company in collective bargaining and with employee organizations.Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at The Company must have a Master's degree in HR development, administration, or a related field, and at least 10 years' of leadership experience in HR management or related roles. Experience in a higher education environment is preferred. Candidates should have a strong background in employment law and compliance at state and federal levels, with SHRM or HRIC certification being advantageous. The role requires the ability to advise on HR matters, participate in budget reviews, and supervise a team of HR professionals. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and capable of fostering strong relationships with the company's workforce and labor unions.
