About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO) to lead the transformation of its Marketing and Communications Team. This role is pivotal in driving awareness, engagement, and support for the organization's mission and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an innovative marketing function, overseeing marketing and communications projects, and ensuring a unified go-to-market approach. They will also play a key role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the marketing and communications work, and will work closely with the Executive Team to align the team's efforts with the company's strategic priorities. The CMCO will lead a dynamic team of over 40 members, serve as a thought leader, and steward change management processes to support the organization's growth and impact.Applicants for the CMCO position at the company should have a proven track record in building and leading marketing and communications functions, ideally within a mission-driven or professional services organization. The role requires expertise in various marketing strategies, including product, personalized, acquisition, event, digital, and content marketing, as well as proficiency in marketing technology systems and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in change management, relationship building, and managing significant financial resources.
