Job Description

As a full time Rehab Tech you will assist in delivering patient care in the rehabilitation setting under direct supervision as described in State of Maryland Practice Acts.

* Prepares and maintains treatment areas and equipment to adhere to appropriate infection control standards, as well as maintains logs to assure compliance.

* Assists the licensed clinicians in the delivery of patient care as permitted by State of Maryland Practice Acts.

* Assists front office and clinicians with routine clerical tasks to support the patient care process.

* Monitors and maintains inventory to assure adequate supplies.

* Demonstrates patient-centered care and service.

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Current ACLS or BCLS certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Highly effective verbal communication skills including courtesy, resourcefulness and efficiency in answering questions, giving directions, locating staff and explaining hospital/departmental policies and procedures are necessary. Verbal communication skills may include communicating with an interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. Effective writing skills are also required in order to take messages and maintain miscellaneous records, receipts, reports and logs.
