Responsibilities
The Interventional Radiology Technologist provides technical imaging services in Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Angio Lab with evidence of proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures. Maintains high quality across the continuum of Cath/Angio care including pre, intra and post procedure activities. Demonstrates stewardship of personal and material resources across the department while adhering to departmental and hospital policies, procedures and goals.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
* Must possess a high school diploma or GED
* Radiologic Technology
* 2 years in diagnostic imaging
License Requirements:
* Must be licensed in the State of Maryland
Certification Requirements:
* ARRT Certification
* CPR
* ACLS within 1 year of hire
Other Requirements:
* Sterile Technique
* General Radiographic Procedures
* Radiation Safety
