Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tobacco Prevention and Control Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and managing tobacco prevention programs, providing counseling services, and contributing to community outreach initiatives.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for individuals seeking assistance in tobacco cessation.

* Develop and implement tobacco prevention programs and educational workshops for community members.

* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations to promote tobacco-free living.

* Stay abreast of current trends and research in tobacco prevention and control to enhance program effectiveness.

* Administer assessments and surveys to evaluate the impact of prevention initiatives.

* Provide support for individuals dealing with addiction and devise personalized treatment plans.

* Organize and participate in community events to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use.

* Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and program outcomes.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.

* Certification in Tobacco Treatment and Counseling.

* Previous experience in tobacco prevention or a related field is preferred.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of evidence-based practices in tobacco prevention.
