Description
Works with students typically between ages 2 to 5 years requiring early intervention for a range of disabilities. Supports instruction, classroom and behavior management, implements individual student reinforcement systems, assists with routine care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting, performs certain medical procedures or gives medication under supervision and with appropriate training; and aids medically fragile students and those physically impaired, which may involve transferring to and from wheelchairs to floor, table, or therapy devices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of the Best Practices for Teaching Students with Autism Modules 1-8 or ABA Fundamentals required. Two years of college, preferred. Experience with preschool students preferred.
