Program Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead our adult medical day care program. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of program operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our participants. This individual will play a key role in program development, staff management, regulatory compliance, and community outreach.

To this end, the agency's mission to provide comprehensive mental health care to families and children utilizing the services of qualified professionals implementing individualized rehabilitation plans that assist all persons in obtaining their desired goals. To honor this commitment, we are involved in partnering with other agencies aimed at providing better health care. These include consultation and service provisions to area schools, other community agencies, groups and individuals, as well as other cooperative prevention efforts.

Responsibilities: Providing leadership, direction, and administrative management for our Targeted Case Management Program. The Program Director will receive direction from Executive Management and is responsible for the management and over-all quality/effectiveness of our services where we provide direct client services.

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement program policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and participant activities.

Supervise program staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure participants receive appropriate medical care and services.

Monitor program budget and expenses, optimizing resources to meet program goals.

Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes, implementing improvements as needed.

Conduct community outreach to promote services and grow program.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, nursing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Strong knowledge of adult medical day care regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
