FACULTY POSITION / MICROSURGEON DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY, DIVISION OF THORACIC SURGERY The Department of Surgery at the University of Maryland is seeking a full-time faculty member with an emphasis and expertise in murine models of lung transplantation. The candidate must possess a track record of microsurgery-related research and prior experience in research execution and project management. Specifically the person should have experience in immunoregulation of the lung allograft as it relates to cellular mechanisms involving the interaction of eosinophils and other cell types, such as ILCs and T cells. The candidate is expected to function as part of a larger team contributing to large collaborative studies as well as to conduct independent research. Expertise in small animal microsurgery is a must. The candidate must possess an MD or PhD with compensation and academic rank dependent on qualifications.
