No weekends
Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services to the male population at this facility. Full-time services will also include spending 1D2 day/week at the male institution across the street (Ross Correctional Institution). Schedule is weekdays - no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Preferred schedule is five 8-hour days/week. Selected physician will see approximately 2.5 patients/hour. Assignment may last at least 6 months and eventually lead to permanent hire if there is mutual good fit. Both a phone interview and an on-site meeting/tour at Chillicothe Correctional Institution will be required prior to offer decision.
The following credentialing documents must be submitted: a comprehensive resume that includes education (with location and year of graduation), training, and complete work history; Ohio license; healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification. A Drug Enforcement Administration certification should also be submitted, if available, as it will be required for the assignment.
