Role & Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive will have responsibility for the development and closure of incremental staffing and solutions revenue resulting from new accounts and up-selling existing accounts in the Fortune 1000 and SMB markets.

* Prospect, qualify, and target new business consisting of staffing and / or solutions opportunities. Work through strategic enterprise selling process on new business evaluations and up-sell opportunities to close sales.

* Responsible for account mapping / account planning.

* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and yearly sales objectives are consistently achieved or exceeded.

* Effectively and simultaneously manage multiple solutions opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle.

* Achieve mutually agreed upon performance targets and mutual lead generation.

* Work regularly with the market leader to strategize on and close sales.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred

* Minimum of 2+ years of proven sales performance within the following industries: staffing, software, high-tech software, services and/or enterprise business solutions

* Understanding of technology and appreciation for 'demo' opportunities facilitated by the presales team

* Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas within specified timeframes

* Proven experience driving a sales process (new evaluations) with prospects

* Ability to perform detailed needs analysis and proposal development

* Strong understanding of technical products and services

* Self-motivated, driven, tenacious and energetic with an exceptional work ethic

* The ability to think and work independently

* The ability to project confidence and enthusiasm

* The ability to problem-solve and think creatively

* The ability to interpret selling situations and build relationships through a consultative approach
