This is a pool posting for adjunct instructors of Chemistry to fill positions as needed at Ohio University regional campuses located in the following cities in the state of Ohio: Chillicothe, Eastern (ST. Clairsville, OH); Lancaster, Southern (Ironton, OH), and Zanesville.

Posting Number 20161620F Job Description Applications to this Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions as needs arise at Ohio University regional campuses (Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Southern and Zanesville) during the spring semester 2021-2022. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching Introductory Chemistry Lecture and Lab courses on location on any of the regional campuses. These positions have teaching responsibilities that require the applicant to be on campus. Generally, these positions are NOT remote teaching positions.

The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this posting.

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have at least an earned masters degree in Chemistry or a related field. Preferred Qualifications An earned doctorate in chemistry is preferred. Commitment to active learning, use of technology in the learning process and outreach programs is a plus.
