MetaPhase brings over a decade of experience overseeing the implementation and communication of key digital technology initiatives at various federal Civilian agencies in the international and foreign affairs mission space. In support of this project, MPC is seeking a Senior Conference & Events Specialist with ten or more (10+) years of experience to develop and execute integrated communications strategies that feature state-of-the art visuals, engaging virtual and in-person events, and compelling storytelling content that can be leveraged with key stakeholder networks.

Washington, D.C or remote upon approval from client
Travel
Occasional international travel may be required
Education Level
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience, or Master's degree and eight (8) years of experience managing special events
Clearance Level
Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain a secret clearance)

In support of this project, MPC is seeking a Senior Conference & Events Specialist with ten or more (10+) years of experience to develop and execute integrated communications strategies that feature state-of-the art visuals, engaging virtual and in-person events, and compelling storytelling content that can be leveraged with key stakeholder networks.
What You Will Be Doing
- Act as the day-to-day in-house advisor to lead coordination of protocol and events; provide operational and functional support to organize events agency-wide
- Develop and maintain the agency's internal events plan
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders following strict professional and diplomatic protocols
- Managing the coordination of large conferences and/or events (virtual and in-person)
- A minimum of ten or more (10+) years of direct experience in communications and special event coordination
- Experience working on events for the US Government, foreign governments, and/or international organizations
- Comfortable using independent judgment and action to complete tasks with discretion
- Formal training or experience with diplomatic protocols and events
- Experience working with an agency's front office in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience with InDesign, GovDelivery, Drupal, Google Suite, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
