Salesforce Senior Developer

Job description

The Senior Salesforce Developer will support the continued growth of the Salesforce Program by delivering new features leveraging AccelerEds agile framework. This role will be responsible for contributing to building and maintaining new and existing product features in our complex salesforce landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a senior technical developer for the Salesforce environment with 1400+ users
  • Work with the Salesforce team to develop technical solutions for business challenges with declarative configuration changes wherever possible.
  • Directly work with solution/ Integration architect to design and solutioning complex product features using declarative alternatives that will be highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new business requests.
  • Improvement of the data quality in the Salesforce org with regards to the end-to-end processes in the entire company
  • Works with 3rd-party vendors to implement new systems and product features.
  • Perform mass data imports using the API or import tools as requested.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, formulas, and customizations
  • Build custom flows and process automation to streamline business processes
  • Build, and maintain new/ existing LWC, Apex, and Visualforce pages.
  • Work with junior/mid-senior developers to refactor existing code and translate to process builder, and declarative automation.
  • Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture by following effective communication.
  • Maintain updated system documentation and related SFDC policies/procedures.
  • Lead requirements conversations with end-users to identify solutions to meet communication objectives
  • Document solution and architecture decisions
  • Assist in monthly feature releases
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Education
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules and budgets
  • Experience in leading technical efforts from the front and working directly with stakeholders in delivering highly scalable solutions.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking for solutions and ideas in developing complex solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries API concepts a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Act independently on routine assignments or projects
  • Able to communicate professionally, both oral and written
  • Plan, organize, and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a solution-focused mindset and positive attitude. Must be a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of accomplishment of enabling repeatable processes, driving advancement in quality, and collaborating within a matrixed organization in a responsive and productive manner

Experience:
  • A minimum of 6 years/preferably 8+ years of experience in the Salesforce Development space
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce lightning sales/ service cloud as a developer
  • Strong experience in using SOQL, salesforce flows, and lightning components for UI
  • Strong working experience with web technologies XML, HTML, CSS, WSDL, SOAP, JSON
  • Salesforce integration/data migration experience using salesforce data loader tools and other integration platform
  • Experience working with other Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Partners
  • Experienced in implementing and running installed packages and/or connected apps
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and migrating from Classic
  • Experience in Salesforce integration tools.
  • Experience in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience in supporting end-users, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Nice to have experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Certifications
  • Salesforce Developer I (Must have)
  • Salesforce Administrator - (Must Have)
  • Salesforce Developer II (Preferred)
