What were looking for

ScienceLogic is searching for a Python Engineer to develop and maintain critical ETL processes which run across data pipelines between our customer environments and our own cloud hosted data warehouse.

What youll be doing

• Develop novel python based solutions to extract usage data from customer systems
• Build ETL tooling to process customer data into consumable insights for stakeholders
• Deploy and maintain cloud based queuing systems, databases, and other backend servers
• Work with product teams to gather requirements and implement requested features
• Build and maintain ci/cd tooling for rapid deployment of solutions
• Maintain and support delivered software solutions as they scale
• Implementing industry best practices and utilizing standard frameworks like opentelemetry

Qualities you possess

• Minimum 3 years python or similar programming language experience
• Minimum 3 years of enterprise software development
• Minimum 1-3 years Linux system administration including troubleshooting servers
• Experience with AWS services like redshift, SQS, DynamoDB is a major plus.
