NavAide is seeking entry-level candidates for the role of SharePoint Business Analyst Intern. This temporary position is dedicated to assisting in the organization, development, and implementation of our SharePoint Intranet, playing a vital role in streamlining communication and collaboration within our organization.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Analyze current Confluence and SharePoint content, including business policies and processes, and provide recommendations for development, improvement, or simplification to enhance overall efficiency.
- Contribute actively to the development of the SharePoint roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.
- Lead efforts to upgrade SharePoint instances, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Develop comprehensive strategies, plans, and roadmaps for collaboration and information sharing, integrating feedback from stakeholders and business units.
- Assist the business in conducting thorough analysis, defining precise requirements, and implementing innovative solutions in an agile and cost-effective manner, promoting continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management and business analysis methodologies, including Agile frameworks.
- Willingness to engage proactively with business lines on project planning, scoping, and task management, demonstrating adaptability and a customer-centric approach.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency level with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams, with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SharePoint sites.
- Experience in developing mockups, wireframes, and prototypes, utilizing tools like Microsoft Visio or Adobe XD to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in graphic design or UI/UX principles, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to enhance user experiences through intuitive interfaces and visually appealing designs.
- Experience in documentation, tracking, and effective communication with internal business teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies, coupled with a proactive attitude towards professional development and continuous learning.
