Our financial services client is looking for a Lead UX Designer to join their team.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $55.00 - $65.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Lead UX Designer:

• Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs
• Translate business needs into intuitive and engaging digital experiences
• Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience
• Engage in portfolio prioritization to help set the strategy and product road map for the team
• Manage through shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization
• Advocate for the customer through human-centered design methods
• Champion prioritization of design centered product enhancements grounded in research and analysis
• Work with partners and teams across various geographies
• Facilitate discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities
• Frame problems, defining insights, and designing new methodologies/practices to serve customer needs
• Understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability and empathy studies
• Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models

Requirements of the Lead UX Designer:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience with User Experience design
• Experience designing for cross channel experiences
• Experience managing a cross-functional team
• Comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering outcomes
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and/or Figma
• Familiarity with working in an established design system
