Central Point Partners is currently interviewing candidates in the Columbus, Oh area for a large client.

Because this is a Contract to Hire position only GC's and USC's.

This position is Hybrid (2-3 Days remote/work from home)! Only candidates who are local to Columbus, Oh will be considered.

Lead Java Spring Boot Developer

Must have Lead experience

Must Have

• 8+ years Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, middleware/backend, RESTful services development

• Act in a tech lead role on project teams, working with scrum team in refining User Stories for quality & acceptance criteria, writing technical design documents, and proposing technical solutions in adherence with latest trends in cloud-based software and Huntington standards.
• Expert level Change Management and Incident Management knowledge using ServiceNow to implement changes to production.
• Expert level knowledge of integration between internal applications using APIs and other communication techniques.

• Assist with software delivery (Hands on - typically, but also in an advisory or architectural role to Create server architecture, create table layouts, create highly available data resources, create highly recoverable data resources, Configure highly performant data sources)
• Assist with a transition to Kafka - specifically with analyzing proper use cases, detailed Kafka environment setup considerations, enrichment, and transformations.
• Ensure that all development team deliverables are planned and completed including but not limited to sprint planning, backlog refinement, detailed design, development, unit/automated testing, defect fixes, implementation planning/execution, change controls, and production support/incident resolution.
• Help in tracking and reporting the development team's progress in completing deliverables using systems like ADO and Jira.
• Provide support in staffing decisions for the development team (referral, interviewing, candidate selection, onboarding, etc.)

• Provide L3 production support 24/7/365 spread across the team.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills frequently working with other enterprise IT and business partners daily.
• Learn the business processes, controls and workflows supported by each technical solution and fluently communicate between technical and non-technical audiences.

• 3+ years Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, middleware/backend, RESTful services development

• 3 years of experience in developing microservices while utilizing continuous integration, build, and delivery w/spring, spring boot
• Payments/payment processing background in 1 or more of the following: Wires, ACH, Zelle, TCH RTP or Bill Payments
• Experience using monitoring and alerting tools eg. Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, and log files to evaluate the health of mission critical production applications and to identify root causes for performance and functional issues
• Experience with GIT, Maven, Jenkins, JSON & SOAP xml
• Hands-on experience in writing basic SQL queries
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technology
• 3 years delivering software using agile methodologies
