As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a vital role at Nuvitek. You be working closely with an equally enthusiastic team of developers and engineers in an Agile environment to modernize our customer's application using low-code solutions and enhance the Salesforce platform for our organization. As part of the process, you will be learning from peers/ seniors and will be mentoring juniors in your tenure with Nuvitek.

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Help to envision, design, and implement new features utilizing the Salesforce low-code platform for the projects based upon the prioritized product backlog

Bring innovating, out-of-the-box thinking to solving challenging problems, brainstorming with peers, and utilizing available resources including internal as well as external resources

Work with functional and testing team to understand the business functionality, to ensure what is developed meets or exceeds the end-user needs and adhere to Salesforce best practices and maintain code documentation.

Unit test all developed features, including edge cases. Also be comfortable to conduct peer review of other developer s code as needed

Attend and actively participate in all Agile-related meetings. Work within the Agile framework including participating in User Story grooming sessions, Sprint Planning meeting, and retrospectives

Delivery presentations as required to the client during Sprint demos as well coordinating meetings with intersecting teams as required.

Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators

Participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the company to socialize best practices and draft white papers as applicable

Help with building proof of concept, creating technical solutions for internal application as needed.

Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.

Required Qualifications, Work Experience, and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelors or other IT related degree

Applicants MUST be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government s Public Trust security clearance

At least 4+ years of professional experience with the Salesforce eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform while delivering in an Agile framework.

A solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.

Fairly good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows

Strong verbal and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels with technical as well as business resources

Must have proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services

Salesforce Developer certification(s)

Experience in handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills in a remote environment

Experience working with software development team members.

Other open sources technology experience preferred
