Position Summary:
The Admissions Associate is a key member of the Admissions team, supporting the admissions office in all aspects of recruitment and enrollment including communication with applicant families, office coordination, applicant record processing and maintenance, event planning and implementation, and administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative responsibilities and office operations
  • Welcome and greet families with a high-level of customer service and cultural competency
  • Answer phone and email communications with proactive follow-up
  • Support families throughout the application process, answering questions, scheduling, and processing application documents
  • Assist with Admissions Committee coordination and preparation
  • Manage application and enrollment database functions
  • Maintain accurate statistical information and generate regular reports
  • Manage the office event and appointment calendar
  • Work closely with Admissions and other Landon offices to assist with event planning and management
  • Working closely with the Director of Admissions, Outreach & Enrollment and the Director of Communications, assist with marketing efforts
  • Attend and manage various events, some evenings and occasional weekends
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience in a goal-oriented office environment requiring exceptional customer service
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, personable self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • High level of technological facility and familiarity with school database software and the MS Office Suite
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness
