We are hiring for a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team in the Glen Burnie, MD area. We are seeking candidates who are a team player, organized, and someone who is both reliable and responsible.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm + 1 evening per week 10:30am-7:00pm

Job Type: Contract to hire

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay: $18-22/hr

Available Location(s): Glen Burnie, MD

Overview

Perform vital sign assessments
Conduct Point-of-Care (POC) testing
Engage in patient outreach activities
Administer medications as prescribed
Document patient interactions accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Assist patients in various medical specialties including Family Medicine, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, and HIV care
Pre-visit planning including following up on referrals, reviewing consult notes in the system, and coordinating with other healthcare offices for patient health records

Requirements:

1+ year(s) RECENT experience in Medical Assisting - can be open to lesser experience if the right fit
Medical Assistant school diploma - REQUIRED
Medical Assisting national certification - REQUIRED
