This role provides opportunity for functional people leadership along with direct individual technical contribution. You will lead a team of technical staff comprising a wide range of engineering and science fields in support of Transformational Computing programs.

You will lead a team of technical staff comprising a wide range of engineering and science fields in support of Transformational Computing programs.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of 8-12 technical staff in management role.
- Execute in a direct contributor role as a system, software, electrical, design, test engineer or as an architect, physicist, material, or data scientist.
- Work with technical leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define requirements and develop Agile project plans.
- Work in cooperation with program management to track execution and provide technical leadership to the team/pod.
- Work in collaboration with training leads to review and develop technical training material/documents.
- Support administrative management responsibilities including staffing, performance evaluation, career development, and salary planning.
This position requires work onsite in either Linthicum, MD or Annapolis Junction, MD facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 7 years of related engineering experience including at least one year as an integrated product team or technical team lead.
- Proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance per business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in STEM
- 12 years of related engineering experience
- Demonstrated performance as technical, integrated product team, and/or functional leader.
