Job Description

This position reports into the Manager, Maintenance Planning/Reliability in Wilmington, OH.

The Maximo Administrator is responsible to the broad support and ownership of the site CMMS (Maximo). The position will have a broad range of responsibilities, including shared management of upgrade/improvement projects with IT, implementing enhancements, creating custom reports, training and SOP updates.

KEY DUTIES:
  • Serve as the business owner for the CMMS system (Maximo) for the Wilmington Site.
  • Serve as the site subject matter expert for Maximo.
  • Track and lead improvements and upgrades to the CMMS system (Maximo).
  • Act as liaison with the relevant IT support teams and outside contract support.
  • Retrieve, analyze data, and develop CMMS reports.
  • Partner with IT to customize, configure, test and deploy IBM Maximo Changes throughout the system life cycle.
  • Provide support to end users.
  • Provide Maximo Instructor Lead Training.
  • Update and maintain CMMS procedures and training material.
  • Help develop site skill and knowledge of Maximo system.
  • Report Maximo issues as needed and recommend improvements.
  • Lead Maximo user group meetings.

SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
  • Strong knowledge of asset management systems/CMMS (Blue Mountain, Maximo, SAP, etc.).
  • Previous experience administrating and maintaining Maximo preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a life science, corporate or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP practices desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office software including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to generate presentations/reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Basic Qualifications
  • Associates (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biology, Chemistry, or another related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' experience in all areas of Maximo.
  • One to four years' experience in an administrator role.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
