The Role: Presidio Federal is seeking a Senior Collaboration Engineer for a full-time position supporting their Federal Customer in the greater DC area. The Senior Collaboration Engineer will play a crucial role in understanding and implementing technical requirements for Collaboration projects, encompassing VoIP, Video, Presence, Contact Center, and Collaboration Applications. They will work closely with the Managing Consultant or Team Lead to grasp project processes, lifecycles, and documentation, ensuring precise execution and participating in process improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and maintain manufacturer certifications aligned with organizational and personal objectives.
  • Execute Statements Of Work for professional services engagements with customers.
  • Validate the technical architecture provided by the Collaboration Solutions Architect and suggest modifications if necessary.
  • Stay updated on technology trends, customer needs, and market demands.
  • Contribute to a well-organized team environment based on values such as ownership, professionalism, and dependability.
  • Understand the customer environment (both technical and political) and escalate issues to the Team Lead when appropriate.
  • Participate in modifying and improving professional services project documentation and project implementation processes.
  • Implement project processes and documentation accurately.
  • Troubleshoot integrated technology issues and maintain precise records.
  • Serve the Federal Customer according to Presidio's professional standards.
  • Complete other duties/tasks as assigned.
  • Be available for on-site work and on-call duty as required.
  • Actively takes part in proposal efforts as necessary or defined by management.


Position Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the Unified Communications / Collaboration industry.
  • Industry Certifications, such as CCNP Collaboration and preferably CCIE Collaboration, along with Microsoft Teams certifications.
  • Strong experience in SIP troubleshooting.
  • Expert understanding of SIP, H.323, and legacy telephony infrastructure.
  • Hands-on field experience and knowledge of core technologies including CUCM, UCXN, IMP, Expressway, UCCX, CMS, Cisco IOS, Webex, and MS Teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to hold a Government Clearance, preferably with an active DHS or DOD Secret clearance.
