The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) will call on existing and new clientele, as well as work with builders, designers, General Contractors and all other decision makers in the sales and installation process. This key role will drive sales volume, maintain/ grow existing accounts, and develop new clientele and sales channel opportunities throughout assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities
Identifies and establishes relationships with new and existing clientele
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
Works independently yet cooperatively with the company and team's goals and directives
Provides industry-leading service to customers by processing orders and credits promptly
Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Sets up and maintains client displays and merchandising samples
Emphasizes new product promotion during sales calls and onsite visits/meetings
Develops in-depth knowledge and expertise with regard to all Emser products
Responds to the marketplace by providing value through being a knowledgeable rep with quick follow up
Stays abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
Attends and participates in trade and industry events to increase client knowledge of Emser

Solid analytical skills in identifying client needs and aligning them to product offerings
Demonstrated expertise in the principles of collaborative sales technique
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Emser clients, customers and influencers (internal and external)
Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities
Listening skills, communication skills, energy, enthusiasm and endurance
Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise
Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential
College B.A. / B.S. degree preferred
