Data Engineer
Contract Duration 10+ months
Pay rate up to $57.55/hr
Primary Function:
The role of Data Engineer, CRM Database & Marketing team is responsible for building and optimizing the CRM database processes and pipelines and supporting the marketing campaigns and automation efforts.
Strong SQL Database and Cloud (Azure) experience with data engineering and analysis skills are critical to this role.
This role provides excellent opportunities to learn and grow your data skills, while providing ample exposure to end-to-end CRM technology and processes.

Job Responsibilities:
Data Engineering
Discuss data engineering needs with CRM and brand partners to support, enhance and create database processes and data across offline and online sources for various brands.
Work with cross-functional teams to design, build and test ETL processes and data pipelines to ingest and transform data into the CRM database platform.
Data engineering support for metadata management, regulatory compliance, m arketing campaigns and automations.

DB Operations
Review consumer data flows and pipelines and identify opportunities to improve and modernize the existing processes and build new database processes for new launches.
Support consumer case(s) research to identify underlying database or operational issues affecting the consumers and work with project teams to improve the CRM programs.
Provide design oversight and test support for new database projects and pipelines built in-house and by vendors across our consumer CRM program needs.

Job Requirements:
4 6 years of Data Engineering experience working on Cloud (Azure) and database architecture, design, development and testing and ETL/ELT pipelines is required
Strong experience in relational (e.g., Oracle SQL) and non-relational (e.g., Cosmos DB) databases and ETL tools like Informatica, Azure Data Factor or Alteryx is required.
Working knowledge of software engineering tools and principles is required.
Software Programming experience with Python, .NET or Java is preferred.
Marketing Automation experience with Salesforce, Unica or Alteryx is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications skills to effectively discuss challenges and proposing solutions to technical and non-technical leaders is highly desired.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Marketing or in a relevant area
Certified in Data Engineering, Data Science or Data Analytics with industry experience.
