Job Description:This position works under the direction of the Business Applications Manager. The Business Application Analyst I works closely with other Intermountain Business Analysts and business operations to improve the structure and operations of enterprise-wide functional areas utilizing existing business application solutions. Applying business practice knowledge and business systems knowledge, the Business Application Analyst I is responsible for collaborating with his/her team members to provide ongoing production and development support.This position will manage the Contract Lifecyle Application, Conga CLM.Unfortunately, we are not currently considering candidates that require visa sponsorship for this position. We apologize for the inconvenience.ScopeThe Business Application Analyst I is part of a centralized, system wide business applications team responsible for overall production support for the enterprise-wide applications in their area of accountability.Job EssentialsProvides day-to-day operational and routine maintenance and support to functional users and employees on Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other non-clinical systems. Performs operational systems tasks and maintenance as assigned. May be asked to participate in process consultations.Performs troubleshooting of complex issues related to system functionality and data integrity.Gathers basic requirements for new development via routine support of functional users. Works with business analysts as necessary to evaluate requests.As assigned, responsible for testing and deployment, including but not limited to patch or service pack testing, defect research, general testing, and deployment support. Follows standard testing methodologies. Provides high quality documentation related to new or modified system configuration.Responsible for change management and security management including FRC support, RFC review, and support of DSA responsibilities or other duties related to system change management and security management.Responsible for development of simple ad-hoc queries and data analysis. May be involved in more complex query development with supervision.Responsible for new development of simple reports or dashboards utilizing report and dashboard tools in existing applications. May be involved in more complex report or dashboard development with supervision. Surfaces suggestions for new reports or dashboards to be built for operational consumption.Develops high quality business applications documentation and training materials to assist with system training to end-users. Supports the maintenance of existing training documentation.Surfaces suggestions for system improvements based on interactions with end users and analysis of data and working knowledge in area of expertise. Works with other business analysts as necessary to evaluate requests.Shares important and relevant information with the team. Proactively offers suggestions, provides resources, volunteers for assignments, and removes barriers to help the team accomplish its goals.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree with two years of professional experience working within a related area. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.or -Five year of professional experience working within a related area.and -Experience in a role requiring effective problem solving, analysis, and ability to offer business solutions to customers.and -Demonstrated knowledge of SQL or comparable query language.and -Experience in interpretation of data from multiple data sources and multiple data structures.and -Experience in a role requiring effective communication of business concepts to technical and non-technical personnel and bringing order to ideas and processes.and -Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, and e-mail.and -Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.Demonstrated knowledge of related professional experience through certification such as Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Supply Chain Professional, or Professional Business Analyst.Experience with hands-on application management, design, configuration, maintenance and support for systems.and -ERP, HR, Budgeting, BI, Payroll, Supply Chain, or other non-clinical system implementation experience.and -Experience and knowledge of the Healthcare industry.and -Experience implementing a system or has been responsible for successful implementation or evolution of an existing system.and -Experience implementing a Finance system or has been responsible for successful implementation and/or evolution of an existing system.and -Proficiency with SQL and/or Microsoft Access.-and-Experience with Contract Lifecyle Management applications.Physical Requirements:Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.and -See and read computer monitors and documents.and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.Anticipated job posting close date:05/28/2024Location:Employee Service CenterWork City:MurrayWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
