Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Center Manager for a position supporting a defense contractor. The Data Center Manager will be required to work onsite in Bethesda, MD. The individual will oversee and maintain all data center operations, collaborating with the government customer to define processes, ensure compliance, and track resource consumption.

* Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance , this role will sponsor upgrade to CI Poly*

Responsibilities of the Data Center Manager:

  • Define data center processes and standards with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with activities.
  • Track and report resource consumption.
  • Coordinate access and logistical support, communicate maintenance intervals.
  • Manage installation, maintenance, security compliance, documentation, vendor supervision, stock control, and support for data center operations.
Necessary Qualifications for the Data Center Manager:
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly OR TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to manage hardware configurations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
Compensation for the Data Center Manager:
  • Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 (dependent on experience)
