Cloud Solutions Architect, SeniorThe Opportunity: Everyone is trying to harness the cloud, but not everyone knows how. As a cloud architect, you know how to create and advise customers on cloud-based technical architecture and migration recommendations that meet needs and take advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of our client's toughest problems.On our team, you ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client s environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience, you ll work with your client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud.You Have: 5+ years of experience with software development or engineering5+ years of experience serving as a solution architect integrating disparate technologies into cohesive technical solutions that directly address client challenges3+ years of experience with designing, implementing, migrating to, or consulting on AWSAbility to communicate orally and in writing to establish the client s business strategy and technical needsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degreeAbility to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hireNice If You Have: 3+ years of experience in a technical consulting role3+ years of experience with building large-scale enterprise solutions, including security concerns, high availability methods, multiple platforms, network design, monitoring solutions, and performanceExperience with building, delivering, or managing solutions within classified cloud environmentsExperience with DevOps and DevSecOps for build and release pipelinesKnowledge of establishing enterprise-wide Data Platform architecture, frameworks, design, and development standardsMaster's degreeAWS Certified Solutions Architect CertificationSecurity+ or Cybersecurity CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Create Your Career: Grow With Us Your growth matters to us that s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen s total compensation package for employees.
