We are looking for an Entry Level Cloud Software Developer with experience in building and deploying high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications to support our customer in Central Maryland. You will be part of a dynamic and high producing team that is responsible for providing revolutionary technology that provides search and discovery capabilities within the applications.

In this role you will:

Implement backend RESTful web services using Java or Python.
Develop modern UI components using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React and JQuery. Leverage your experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML to create modern user interfaces.
Implement solutions utilizing the Amazon Web Services well architected framework.
Experience horizontally scaling heavy workload applications in the cloud.
Query large data-sets using distributed NO-SQL databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB or similar systems.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing: Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab Cl/Pipelines
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform.
Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Familiar with core AWS services such as: EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc...

Ideal Skills:
Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile software development environment
Experience building/deploying applications using AWS.
Able to continuously learn and be at the leading edge of industry trends.

Required Degrees:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
A Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required for certain positions.
A Master's degree in Computer Science will towards the experience requirement for certain positions.
