The Web Software Developer will support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO) Program Management Office (PMO). The position will provide application design and development of a containerized web-based software application that is deployed in AWS. The application is Reactjs based with a server-side API and Postgres database with integration to other system APIs.Duties & Responsibilities:Design and develop using security best practices that meet FedRamp requirementsDesign client-side and server-side architectureDesign relational database modelsDevelop responsive web-based UIDevelop libraries and reusable codeImplement user PIV authentication and AD based authorizationInteract with functional owners to elicit requirements for effective UXSupport development of designs and wireframesTranslate wireframes and designs into good quality codeUtilize DevOps toolset to execute project using Agile MethodologiesWrite application interface code with JavaScriptWrite back-end API queries for Postgres databaseWrite performant data access layer code

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

:BA/BS degree with 3 years development experience or 6 years relevant work experienceProven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleExperience in front-end, back-end, and API developmentExperience with authentication via Okta or OIDCExperience writing SQL queries in Postgres SQLExperience developing WebSocket or WebSocket-like connectionsExperience with Docker, Jenkins, and AWS Cloud infrastructureExperience with deploying Docker containers to AWSExperience using Confluence, Jira, and GitLab/GitHubFamiliarity developing applications with relational database back-endsKnowledge of FedRamp application security requirementsKnowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, JQuery)Knowledge of multiple back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to work independently or in a teamMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English fluentlyExisting or prior DoD or DHS clearance strongly preferredCLR and its subcontractors shall abide by the requirements of 41CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
