for a full-time position as part of an ongoing contract in Washington DC near Farragut West metro station.Please note: Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and an active Department of Defense

clearance ( no interim adjudications will be accepted ).The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.This engineer has to be very self-motivated and self-starter on tasks. No room for hand holding on the senior roles. Expected to be given limited direction and will architect, administrator or engineer tasks as needed with the data center lead.Primary Duties:Active directory domain services (AD DS) experience 5+ yearsGroup Policy Management 3+ yearsVMware/ESXi experience 5+ yearsSCCM experience 5+ yearsScripting languages such as PowerShell and batchUnderstanding of Microsoft SQL ServerAdditional duties designated by Data Center LeadQualifications include:Current, active government clearance of Secret or greaterCertification: Security+DoD compute certification related to work: (Exchange, Windows Server, MSCE)Previous SIPR work as an Exchange SME/Engineer (no less than 5 years)Solid experience with STIGs and Patch management is a plusAbility to work independently, cooperatively and collegiality with others, on multidisciplinary teams and to establish professional working relationshipsTakes direction well from managementExceptional problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in the English languagePreferred:Solarwinds experienceMicrosoft certificate authority experienceWSUS experienceSQL experienceCISCO HyperFlex experiencePhysical Demands:
