As the Senior Strategist, you will partner with teams that support client success, ensuring that all programs, plans, and activities align with our client's business and strategic objectives, acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients alike. Through a marriage of data analysis and experience, you will identify opportunities for program growth and improvement that reflect a keen understanding of how organizations and constituents interact, bringing insights into action and developing strategic recommendations that directly translate to the goals of the client.

Your impact:
  • Analyzes donor and campaign level trends and translates them into meaningful strategic action.
  • Develops trusted relationships with key client contacts and internal team members.
  • Builds growth scenarios; integrating donor and channel trends and investments to illustrate impact of short- and long-term investments and corresponding strategic roadmap.
  • Assists in building fiscal year budgets and actively pursues strategies to achieve budgeted goals and long-range growth scenario projections.
  • Builds segmentation recommendations for each campaign and intersects with partner agencies as needed when modeling is involved.
  • Develops model implementation plans and recommendations for audiences and campaigns.
  • Collaborates with team leadership and partner agencies to turn ideas into executable plans.
  • Supports client services in building and reviewing the campaign strategy briefs, adjusting as needed, to ensure each campaign is aligned to achieve annual performance goals for the client.
Your Profile:
  • 3+ years working in an agency or consulting firm.
  • 5-7 years' experience in direct response marketing.
  • Experience with direct mail fundraising and acquisition strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • An understanding of the nonprofit industry, including perspectives on how the following influence program strategy: structural, cultural and sector differences; program differences; donor behavior; and marketing strategies and tactics to engage donors.
  • Comfortable using data to drive decisions with a high-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools (particularly Power BI and PivotTables) and the ability to create meaningful, consumable insights appropriate for different audiences.
