Neurology Physician Assistant opportunity in Maryland suburbs. Outpatient Neurology experience is required. Company has great compensation model with base plus profit share advantage. Each patient appointment is set at 30 minute intervals. Early a.m. start is an option (to avoid the traffic)

About the Neurology Physician Assistant opportunity

• Office locations including Rockville area
• See patients for headache, cognitive disorders, apnea, dizziness, vertigo, concussion, tremor, dementia
• Initial exam with Neurologist and Physician Assistant sees follow up patients
• Group combines both clinical and Neuropsychology so patients get holistic care
• Office patient visits are mix of in person and telehealth (approx. 40 %)
• See 12-14 patients a day
• Private Insurance and Medicare, no Medicaid
• Each office has in house testing- EEG, EMG, VMG, Doppler studies
• Radiographic studies are completed at nearby referral location
• EMR is Athena
• Nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and skin biopsies performed
• Training is 2 months
• Office hours 9-5, Monday-Friday but 4 -10 hour days is an option

• Completed Master's Program as Physician Assistant
• MD, VA, or DC Medical License
• NCCPA certification
• Over one year of experience in outpatient Neurology
• Proven interest in caring for patients with complex Medical disease
• Commitment to the DC area

• Salary is between $100,000 and $150,000 depending on number of patients seen after 15 (expected)
• 2 days of Telemedicine visits from home each month
• PTO is 2 weeks
• 401K with 3 % then 7 % match
