CES Customer & Partner Experience Intern

Job description

Full-Time/Long-term Internship

Hours Per Week: ~35 hours/week (9am 5pm). Hours may vary depending on the candidate s schedule and department needs.

Approximate Duration: May/June 2024 - Early/Mid 2025 (Our internships can last up to 11 months from start date.)

Hybrid work schedule: Work 2-3 days in the office (Tues, Weds. and/or Thursday) and the rest remote. Core in-office days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to help drive CES customer and partner success. In this role, you will support the team in the management of customer and partner relationships, including engaging with partners, providing recommendations for improving processes, optimizing strategies, and strengthening relationships. You ll collaborate with colleagues and teams to develop and execute cross-functional customer success plans and provide ongoing support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in partner relations, events, customer support, project management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and be able to work both independently as well as in a team environment. Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage aspects of partner & customer relationships including onboarding, providing ongoing support and communication as well as resolving issues.
  • Assist with the creation of training/educational tools and resources for staff and customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support customers.
  • Review processes and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Track tactical deliverables and work with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with internal CTA business operations for CES including catering, uniforms and other planning needs.
  • Assist with budget process.
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs.
Work Experience:
  • Prior work in customer service, hotel, event, trade show and/or conference planning preferred. Previous experience in Microsoft suite, including Outlook preferred.
Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor s degree or commensurate experience in the field of Customer Support, Hospitality, Event Management or Marketing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric, proactive, empathetic mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Additional Information:
  • PAID Internship.
  • May require travel to CES 2025 in Las Vegas (Early January).
