Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear and concise Integration documentation and tool kits to enable vendors.
• Be front line support for vendors working through the integration process.
• As part of our hardware development process, review hardware schematics and assembly drawings to create product manufacturing and integration test plans and requirements.
• Review RF and Digital board level hardware design from concept through to production.
• As part of our software development process, review software architecture and design to create product manufacturing and integration test plans and requirements.
• Attend and participate in system-level design meetings in order to address design issues early in the product development process.
• Actively participate in lab testing (DVT, HVT and SVT) and troubleshooting as needed.
• Participate in the new product introduction process and subsequent transition to production and vendor integrations.
• Provide training and support as required to manufacturing, integration and test staff.

• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with RF/Digital Hardware Design
• Awareness of signal integrity and EMI/EMC issues and practical knowledge of reducing emissions and susceptibility.
• Awareness of communication concepts such as receive sensitivity, signal distortion, bit error rate, signal and noise power etc.
• Practical experience in the use of test equipment (Spectrum analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Oscilloscope, DC loads, etc.)
• Experience with scripting (VB, C#, Perl, Tcl/Tk, Python, Ruby, Bash) for the purpose of test automation.
• Experience with some programming language such as Python, Java, Lua, Ruby, Golang or C/C++
• Experience developing software within an Agile environment, including the use of Jira to plan and track work is considered an asset.
• Experience with Linux is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with IP Networking protocols and standards is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills to support integration, both internally and working with vendors.
• Must possess the skills needed to analyze and resolve hardware, software, product, and instrumentation issues experienced during the testing our products, working with our design engineering teams to determine root cause as required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to analyze and solve technical problems.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time.
• Be flexible - able to quickly adapt to changing conditions.
• Effective as a single contributor and work well within a team.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field from an accredited University/College.
• Clearance: Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain a secret level DoD clearance.
