**Description**

Kimley-Horn is seeking a **Senior Transportation Planning Practice Builder** to join our growing **Transportation Planning** team in the NoVA- DC Area. The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transportation tasks and projects including management and training of staff as well as pursue local planning work. Various tasks may include corridor concept development, bicycle and pedestrian improvement development, multi-modal transportation analyses and design, traffic analyses, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation. Main software used by the team includes Synchro, GIS, Excel, and Vissim in addition to other programs.

Bachelor's Degree in Planning or Civil Engineering field

PE, AICP and/or TE registration

At least 10 years of experience in transportation planning/engineering

Established client relationships in the region

Technical skills in transportation planning including GIS, Synchro and/or Vissim

Strong written and oral communication skills

Outgoing, self-motivated team player

Ability to work with and balance priorities and direction and mentorship to junior staff
