First Party Property Attorney

to join their firm

We defend homeowners insurance carriers against claims made by their policyholders for severe property damage as a result of hurricane, storm, wind, water and other property damage to residential and commercial properties.

(This job is 100% REMOTE).***IDEAL Candidates have 2+ years experience in either First Party Property Litigation in FLORIDA* (Plaintiff's or Defense) and have prepared several cases for trial and/or tried cases.***Even though this is a DEFENSE firm we will consider those who only have First Party Property PLAINTIFF'S experience. We will also consider Trial Attorneys from Personal Injury / Bodily Injury if you're interested in learning property.SALARY:

Between $90,000 and $170,000 (depending on experience, which we'll evaluate at your interviews)JOB DUTIES:

defending insurance carriers in high-value property damage cases from initial pleadings, written discovery, taking/defending depositions, mediation, and trial. Preparing expert witnesses for depositions, taking expert witness depositions, meeting with clients, drafting demand letters, court hearings, substantive motions, preparing and arguing MSJs, complex legal research & writing, issuing/answering written discovery, settlement negotiations, and managing all files assigned to you. Must be able to manage a high-volume caseload autonomously.
