If so, Tx:Team is looking for you to join our Outpatient Neuro Specialty team at Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab Liberty outpatient clinic Frederick Health is a distinguished leader in comprehensive stroke and neuro care that spans the continuum from Acute Inpatient Services to Home Health and Outpatient and has received an American Heart Association Gold Plus award as a Primary Stroke Center. This is a Sign-on bonus eligible position This is an exciting position for an Occupational Therapist passionate about helping people with neurologic conditions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts in Neurology, Neuroscience, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, who focus on delivering the highest quality patient care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive assessments and treatments to patients with neurologic conditions. Clinic Specialties; Comprehensive Stroke Rehab Expanded Parkinson's Disease Program Vestibular Disorders and Concussion Program Cancer Care Rehab The details: Be a part of this team of clinicians with an excellent reputation for programming and service to its patients. Our team consists of experienced neuro clinicians certified in LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD for the Parkinson's population. Beautiful gym with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies 1:1 patient treatment Highly personalized and patient-centered care The ideal candidate: Is a self-starter who is eager to market his or her OT services in the community Is someone who is excited to join a thriving and energetic team Is someone who loves to continue their education and learn more to better serve their patients Is someone who believes that patients deserve One on One care with a highly trained clinician Is someone who values a lifelong relationship with patients and who can provide therapy services across the lifespan The requirements: Degree from an accredited school approved by ACOTE Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland Has one (1) year outpatient experience Has a minimum of one (1) year of neuro experience LSVT BIG a plus but not required Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication Focus on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence The responsibilities: Deliver quality outcomes driven occupational therapy services Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR) Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
