Job description

Are you passionate about delivering critical technology solutions to federal agencies and supporting their mission? Are you self-organizing, motivated, and client focused? We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for all project management activities in support of a highly visible project with scope including agile software development and implementation, digital platform modernization, and emerging technology solutions (Salesforce, MuleSoft, DocuSign). You will also support the ongoing improvement of company project management resources, certifications, and other company leadership initiatives. The Program Manager in Technology Services reports to the civilian portfolio leader. Primarily responsible for operational oversight of an assigned portfolio of Federal Government project(s). Responsibilities: Serve as the leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance in assigned accounts.

Manage operations for assigned AF projects and is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of operational personnel and equipment as well as utilizing operational tools, tracking systems, monitoring visits and assessments, through necessary budget control and effective planning.

Build and maintain client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams.

Foster and promote customer service, quality, and innovative thinking across the client environment.

Establish trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders for long-term partnerships.

Handle challenging client situations and offers guidance & direction to client executives.

Manage the technical team working on a scope area such as: agile software development and implementation projects, cloud, platforms, cyber, human centered design, technology operations and maintenance, and technology strategy programs.

Cross collaborate with other Project Managers and Program Managers on similar projects.

Manage contract budgets, scope, schedule, and ensure timely execution, while monitoring risks, supporting resource staffing needs.

Serve on proposal teams for identified pursuits and provide support in the area of marketing and bid strategy, as needed.

Dictate the safety and quality control of all project personnel by ensuring project staffs and project equipment adheres to Aleut Federal safety practices.

Manage staff and monitors performance and training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunities. Communicate expectations and monitor employee production, efficiency, and morale.

Assist in growth of Aleut headcount by assisting in interviewing, selection of qualified personnel, training new and existing employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, and employee management and motivation.

Assist the leadership team with strategic planning ensuring that the business goals are documented in the business plan are addressed in the ISG strategic and tactical plans.

Wants to be constantly learning and evolving + is willing to roll-up their sleeves when necessary to deliver!

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager on technology projects.

Significant experience working with various technologies including Cyber, Cloud, Platforms (Salesforce, Service Now, MuleSoft, etc).

Provide leadership, advice, and guidance in a timely fashion to the team and customers, manage budgets and forecasting, and coach staff simultaneously.

Facilitate inter/intra company teamwork to achieve business goals while promoting a culture of common purpose.

Thorough understanding of project budgets and staffing, including recognizing achievements and areas where change may be necessary.

Expert understanding of project management documentation.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, solving problems for the team and clients and creating trusted long-term relationships with clients.

Creativity, resourcefulness, and the use of original ideas.

Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Relevant technology certifications (Salesforce, MuleSoft, .NET, etc.).

Experience working at clients such as U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Commerce Department, Department of State (preferred), Department of the Interior, etc.

Proven capability to strategically grow and maintain customer and teaming partner relationships.#J-18808-Ljbffr
