ICBA Payments, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), has been managing payments solutions for the nation's community banks since 1985.We help power the potential of ICBA members through payments-related innovation, education, and advocacy to help community banks navigate the payments ecosystem and select suitable offerings at favorable pricinghelping community banks compete and thrive.As a trusted strategic partner, ICBA Payments also provides consultative services, industry representation and ongoing vendor support to help community banks retain their best customers, earn profitable returns, and be respected as full-fledged participants in the evolving payments landscape!We are currently seeking a talented Senior Project Manager.SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects through all phases of the project life cycle while acting in the best interest of community banks. This position is accountable for the overall project plan, project governance, scope, budget, issue, risk, and escalation management. Act as project lead for all ICBA Payments projects and represent Payments on ICBA-wide initiatives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides overall project leadership to a cross-functional team ensuring clarity regarding project objectives, approach, and plan while promoting a collaborative team environment.Works with ICBA project management to ensure project consistency across enterpriseHas a strong understanding of how other ICBA Payments and ICBA departments function in order to correctly identify owners of actions in a way that establishes success across all business functions.Works with vendor partners, internal partners, and client banks in order to determine the best course of actionIdentify issues and provide solutions as well as direction to teams on actions needed to achieve resolutions.Holds team members accountable for completing their tasks and deliverables on time, on scope and with high quality.Ensures that all stakeholders are identified and engaged, that their points of view and expectations are understood and managed, and that they are kept informed throughout the life cycle of the project.Accountable for the creating, actively communicating, and managing the project schedule to ensure individual project tasks are defined and tracked within the overall project plan.Defines and manages the project budget, ensuring funding approval through management; tracks and manages actual spend against budget; and forecasts through project completion.Ensures that project goals and objectives are defined and met within agreed upon time, scope, and resource requirements.Leads scope management and change control by identifying and tracking potential changes to scope and presenting scope changes for approvals.Provides timely and concise communications to the project team, leadership, and key stakeholders consistently throughout the life cycle of the project.Is cognizant of industry change that could impact project; liaise with internal and external points of contact for subject matter expertise.Negotiates with vendor partners on refining, updating, and finalizing of all contracts, engaging with legal counsel as needed.QualificationsBachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience.Formal project management training required; PMP certification is preferred.Strong problem solving, analytic, and written and oral communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailProfessional composure, approachability, and strong interpersonal skillsPrevious experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing contractsPrevious experience gathering, tracking, and managing requirements and workloads in a complex environmentMust be able to handle multiple tasks and projects, consistently meet established deadlines, and deliver exceptional resultsUnderstanding of payments industry, community banking, and digital transformation strongly preferredCandidates located within commuting distance of DC, MD or Virginia preferred but remote candidates may be considered#J-18808-Ljbffr
